Eire Society's Social Committee is called
the Social Irish. The
Social Irish is a group
of Boston area singles and couples who gather
for social outings to explore and celebrate
contemporary Irish culture in the city of
Boston. Events the Social Irish support and
attend
include
Irish and Celtic art, traditional and contemporary
Irish music, Irish and Irish American author's
readings, modern and classic Irish theatre,
Irish poetry, traditional Irish dance and
independent Irish film. Social Committee
events are intended to appeal to a wide group
of attendees of all backgrounds, ages and
professions of those who take an interest
in socializing, networking and the Irish
